BOSTON, MA—Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell today announced the launch of her “Youth Power Tour,” a listening tour across Massachusetts to hear directly from young people about the issues that matter most to them and their vision for the Commonwealth’s future.
“Young people are on the front lines of every major challenge we face, from the affordability crisis to attacks on our democracy and freedoms, climate change, and more,” said Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell. “They deserve a seat at the table and leaders who will listen. This tour is about meeting young people where they are, hearing what’s on their minds, and fighting for the future they deserve.”
Attorney General Campbell will host conversations with students and young adults across the state. The events are open to all young people and will feature opportunities for attendees to ask questions, share what’s on their minds, and discuss the issues shaping their futures.
“I believe each generation should do better than the last,” Campbell added. “That’s why I’m running for reelection – to build a Commonwealth where justice, freedom, and opportunity belong to everyone, especially the young people who will inherit the future we’re building today.”
The “Youth Power Tour” comes as Attorney General Campbell is fighting on multiple fronts to protect young people in Massachusetts:
- Fighting for affordability so young people can build futures in Massachusetts
- Protecting the environment from climate change for future generations
- Protecting LGBTQ+ youth from harmful practices and discrimination
- Holding Big Tech accountable for targeting children and causing mental health harm
- Standing up for reproductive freedom, birthright citizenship, and constitutional rights
All events are free and open to young people. Friends are encouraged. Attendees can come to listen, ask questions, or share what’s on their minds as young people in Massachusetts.
