BOSTON – Today, Andrea Campbell announced raising $190,257 as she continues to build grassroots momentum in the Attorney General’s race. With more than 93 percent of total donations coming from Massachusetts residents, voters across the Commonwealth are overwhelmingly backing Andrea’s vision for the Attorney General’s office.
“I am so thankful to every grassroots donor who has chipped in to fund our people-powered campaign,” Campbell said. “I believe in bottom-up government. That means getting out and working hard to connect directly with Massachusetts residents, and I look forward to continuing my Gateway Cities Tour to hear how we can use the AG’s office to push for justice in every community.”
Campbell is running a people-powered campaign with a strong, statewide coalition of grassroots support. Everyday people are investing in her campaign because they know Campbell’s lived, legal, and elected experience matter. Her campaign continues to lead the pack in grassroots fundraising, having raised more than $750,000 in three months with more than 94 percent of donations coming from Massachusetts residents.
Just this week, Campbell continued her Listening to our Gateway Cities Tour in Fall River, New Bedford, Berkshire County, including Pittsfield and surrounding communities. Throughout the month of May, Campbell will continue to travel to Gateway Cities including Lawrence, Springfield, Westfield, Holyoke, and Barnstable.
