BOSTON – Today more than 60 current and former elected officials, across every county in Massachusetts, endorsed Andrea Campbell for Attorney General. This announcement builds on Campbell’s momentum since launching her campaign earlier this month. Within the first 24 hours of announcing, Campbell raised more than $100,000, and has already traveled across the state, from Duxbury to Worcester to Springfield, to speak directly with voters.
“My vision for the Attorney General’s office is firmly rooted in my personal and professional experience–as a child growing up with incredible instability, as a lawyer advocating for greater equity, and as an elected official breaking cycles of poverty and trauma so all families have access to opportunity,” said Campbell. “I am deeply honored to have the support and confidence of these current and former public servants as we continue to engage residents across the Commonwealth to earn their support.”
“This campaign and my candidacy continue my life’s work–and, are about making sure everyone in Massachusetts has a voice in this office, and that our laws, regulations, and policies are implemented equitably to ensure all are provided with a level playing field,” Campbell said.
Over the upcoming months, Campbell will continue to visit communities across the state to hear from residents about how she can leverage the Attorney General’s office to push for fundamental change and progress.
